Power cables AVVG 4X240 (AVVG 4*240) have several types of climatic performance: UHL (cold and moderate climate), T (humid and dry tropical). Placement categories 1, 5 by, and also for laying in the soil, depending on the cable characteristics.

  These products are used mainly for transmission and distribution of electric power in any stationary installations at a rated alternating voltage of 1000 V with a frequency of 50 Hz.

  For installation in dry and damp industrial premises, on special cable racks, for vertical, inclined and horizontal routes, in blocks, as well as for installation outdoors. We do not recommend laying cables in the ground and trenches. More detailed characteristics and design of the power cable AVVG 4X240 were published earlier on our website.

AVVG 4X240 and its design:

1/ Aluminum core - twisted or single-wire.

2- Insulation: PVC plastic I40-13A.

3- Sheath: plastic O-40.

The AVVG brand electric cable is a power cable with aluminum cores in polyvinyl chloride insulation and sheath. The conductive cores are produced both of the same cross-section and with a grounding core, which is of a smaller cross-section. Each core structurally has its own different color insulation green or blue, black or brown, yellow or white, red or pink or numbers 0,1,2,3 and 4.

  Unarmored cables AVVG 4*240 can be used in places that are not subject to mechanical vibration.

Cable versions:

• AVVGz: with filling;

• AVVGng: does not spread combustion in bundles;

• AVVGzng-LS: (Low Smoking) does not spread combustion in bundles, with low smoke and gas emission;
  

*J - insulation of the grounding core is yellow-green;

*O - without a grounding core.

  When laid individually, power cables do not spread combustion. Cables with the index "ng" and "ng-LS" do not spread combustion when used in bundles. Cables can be flat and are designated by the letter P in the marking. Cables in tropical climates have the letter T in their designation, which indicates the cable's resistance to mold.

1.2 kV - for cables with nominal voltage of 1000 V;

• The maximum permissible heating temperature of conductors during a short circuit of no more than 4 s should not be higher than 160C;

• The maximum permissible heating temperature of cable cores in emergency mode lasting no more than 8 hours per day and no more than 1000 hours during the operating period should not exceed 80C;

• AVVG 4X240 has a bending radius during installation of at least 10 outer cable diameters (for single-core cables) and at least 7.5 outer cable diameters (for multi-core cables);

• Electric current frequency - 50 Hz;

• Number of cores in the cable: 4;

• Two-core and three-core cables have all cores of the same cross-section. 4-core and 5-core cables have all cores of the same cross-section or one core of a smaller cross-section;

• Maximum long-term heating temperature of aluminum cores: - +70С°;

• Cables are flame retardant when laid alone;

• Marking - cores are marked with numbers 0,1,2,3 and 4 or in a color different from each other. The distance between numbers is no more than 35 mm;

• The inscription "Energoprom - year of cable manufacture" is embossed or printed on the outside of the sheath at a distance not exceeding every 300 mm;

• Packaging - coils tied on a wooden pallet, drums;
